Behavioral Health Technician, Outpatient – This position can be performed from Delta or Montrose Outpatient centers, Delta or Montrose, CO

 

Position Summary: The role of the Behavioral Health Technician, Outpatient is to provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff and all others contacting the clinic for assistance. Duties include working as part of a team to deliver quality patient care by assisting patients and clinical staff with documentation support, ensuring video and technology is functioning for telehealth appointments, escorting patients to and from appointments, and completion of administrative tasks that support the work of the behavioral health providers.

 

Our ideal candidate for our Behavioral Health Technician, Outpatient position will have their high school diploma, a bachelor's degree is preferred; a minimum of two years of customer service, administrative or healthcare experience is also preferred. 

 

  • Must be organized and demonstrate the ability to follow guidelines.
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to be self-directed.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to follow the organization’s confidentiality and security rules.

 

Salary:  $18.50 (base rate $17.50 + Locale differential $1.00 = $18.50) - $22.60 per hour, and considers preferred experience and education.
