General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for HUB Procurement and Logistics Manager - HV Service for it's Mt Pleasent, PA location.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will take the responsibility for cost, productivity, quality, delivery and inventory plans, keeping in mind Hitachi Energy overall standards, strategy and goals.
• Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including Indirect, Direct Operations and logistics needs. Procurement processes include Product/Service Sourcing, Supplier Selection, Pricing/Terms Negotiation, Order Processing, Contract Administration, Supplier Performance Management.
• The role also includes inventory management for parts and components, accountable for inventory turns, inventory accuracy and supply strategy to support both spare parts market and internal MTO or project demands of the Service organization.
• Your focus will be on long-term planning and continuous improvements, and you will track progress through monthly monitoring of results.
• Manage, Monitor and analyze performance of domestic and international vendors, suppliers and transportation providers and evaluate their capability to meet quality and schedule meet commitments. Prepare reports with KPIs and make recommendations regarding continuing the association or engaging other sources. Elaborate Root Cause Counter Measures when KPIs are not met.
• Overseeing performance and ensuring responsiveness to customer requirements
• You will be the go-to person who supports the operating unit in points of escalations - you take ownership in determining annual targets for cost reduction, inventory turns, supplier quality, supplier delivery performance (OTD) etc.
• Mapping and improving current sourcing structure from end products to raw material. Designing and implementing plans for improved strategies
• Driving the automation of SCM processes (e.g. order process, invoice process, digital supply chain).
• Being involved in International Supplier Relationship Management which consists of, among other things, Supplier Risk Management and Development.
• Maintaining and building long term Supplier Relationships with the Product Groups Key Suppliers.
• Coordinating and supporting supply management organizations in day-to-day issues within the product group and ensure attainment of defined targets.
• Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
• You will report to the US operating unit general manager, and will functionally oversee Supply Chain processes of the Canadian and Mexican Service units, optimizing and aligning Sourcing and Procurement processes for NAM region.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field plus 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement and logistics, or alternatively, a special combination of education, inventory management and international trade experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing direct reports. International experience working with multiple countries is desired.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
