Prairie Farms Corporate Engineering Department is hiring for a Process Automation Engineer. This is a full time in person position Monday through Friday.

Role and Responsibilities

• Interact with PLCs and other automation equipment and navigate through control systems with relative ease.
• Support, update and design with Rockwell software and Rockwell PLC and HMI programming
• Troubleshoot control issues whether it’s in a PLC, mechanical, or electrical issue
• Work hand in hand with IT staff on networking and automation initiatives
• Capable of being a support contact in all hours of the day to any location
• Capable of working with other contractors or engineers to solve issues
• Travel is required and will require remaining at location for extended periods of time as work necessitates

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associates Degree in Automation or Related Engineering Field
• PLC, Automation and/or related experience of 2-3 years

Preferred Skills

Dairy or Food Related experience is a plus

Maintenance background is a plus
