About the Role

The Production Team Member – Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our pontoon boats ranging from checking manufacturing processes, mechanical operation, and/or electrical/component checks and troubleshooting and resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections, adhering to established standards, and contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional products with a focus on Quality, Service, and Innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Incoming Inspection: All materials entering the facility should be verified that they conform to the quality of incoming product as expected.
• Documentation: Records should be accurate, complete, and organized.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicating with department leads, buyers, and the supplier quality led to ensure potential non-conforming parts are moving through the process in a timely manner. 
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and bring forward opportunities for process improvements.
• Recommend quality control measures to enhance the overall product quality

• Complete detailed inspection reports, documentingfindingsand recommended actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and communicate them to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and customer service, to address and resolve issuesidentifiedduring inspections.
• Provide feedback to improve the manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to the inspection process.
• Identifyopportunities to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed during the inspection process.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to theappropriate personnel.
• Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to pontoon boat manufacturing and inspection.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Supports a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactivelyidentifiesopportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in quality inspection or quality control within the marine industry is aplus;willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of pontoon boat construction, systems, and components is a plus but notrequired.
