Quickly moving into other industries, we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class Controls Field Service Manager - EPMS willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Field Service Manager - EPMS to oversee the installation and troubleshooting of controls systems for electrical systems at critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation, electrical engineering, project management and managing technicians. The Controls Field Service Manager is considered as the project SME for Electrical systems controls. They will manage and oversee the daily schedule for the field service team, updating project trackers, and working with the customer and other teams to ensure that their meeting expectations. They will also work with the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. They are responsible for delivering high quality service and customer satisfaction, as well as collaborating well with other teams on the project and providing support as per business needs.
What you will do…
- Manage Field Service Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the field service team, ensuring timely and efficient service deliveryTechnical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for the installation and troubleshooting of building automation systems and critical electrical infrastructure.
- Project Management: Working with the Project Manger to plan, coordinate, execute and track projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other teams for the project, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionall
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of field service technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, project progress, and customer interactions. Prepare regular reports for management.
What you will need to succeed…
- Associate’s degree or an Engineering Degree in a relevant engineering field preferred and/or 5 to 10 years of experience with Electrical Distribution systems, EPMS/BMS, Electrical Power Testing to include system startups, Construction or critical facilities operations.
- 3 to 5 years of Field service experience – working with industrial instrumentation, onsite point to point controls validation and working knowledge with preferably any of the following programs/software: Rockwell Factory Talk; Tridium; Schneider Electric: Powerlogic/Struxureware; Siemens: Apogee; Ignition: Inductive Automation; Eaton Networks; Field Servers; Jace Controllers; Modbus RTU/TCP; Bacnet; Niagara.
- Experience in the mission critical sector is highly valued.
