The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with technology teams to deliver on agreed capabilities for projects engaged in cloud solutions to achieve business objectives. The role is responsible for day-to-day operational response and problem resolution for referred incidents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide problem resolution for referred incidents from the Service Desk, Engineering/Data Science projects and other technology teams, including managing any necessary vendor engagement
• Responsible for meeting team SLO targets and collaboratively ensuring team objectives are met
• Execute prioritized project tasks and plans to deliver discrete cloud-related infrastructure and solutions under a degree of supervision
• Document work and solutions appropriately
• Contribute technical/procedural ideas to strengthen and expand the capabilities of the Cloud Enablement team
• Engage with other technology and infrastructure teams as necessary to complete tasks
• Participate routinely in team on-call rotation
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• 4-year degree in a technology related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Ability to solve problems and work to tight deadlines while under pressure
• Desire to learn new technology and grow across different areas of technology
• Ability to manage workload with multiple priorities and adaptability to changes in those priorities
