THE JOB:
The primary role of the Usher is to warmly greet and engage with guests before, during, and after performances. You will guide guests to their seating locations and monitor each section to ensure a top-notch experience. All responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $19.904 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Greet and engage with guests, providing exceptional SHOW Service
- Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the guest experience
- Create memorable "WOW" moments for all guests
- Oversee guest entry and exit at the doors
- Show guests to their seats and assist with their needs
- Manage specific seating areas (VIP, General Admission, etc.) and direct guests based on their tickets
- Monitor guest behavior during the show, including photography and disruptions
- Address and resolve guest complaints
- Know the showroom layout and showtimes
- Follow the guidance of supervisors
- Adhere to property and departmental policies and procedures
- Perform any additional duties to support the department's success
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
- One (1) year of previous guest service experience
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
