12- HOUR SHIFTS
Major Responsibilities:
- Performs all the functions of a Medical Assistant I Med Grp such as preparing and rooming the patient, clinical integration focus, performing laboratory procedures, assisting the Physician/Advanced Practice Professional (APP) with procedures and administering routine medications, under Physician/Advanced Practice Professional (APP) orders or medical group approved standing order/protocol.
- Follows through with necessary procedure or test requests, pre-approved care algorithms, new appointment times and referrals to other facilities or services. Refers questions to Registered Nurse and Physicians/A
