Job Description
Remote opportunity - candidates commutable to Perrysburg, Ohio preferred.
The P&C Business Partner is the strategic partner for key leaders of their assigned organization.
- Serve as HR strategic advisor for assigned leaders including Engineering, Quality, EH&S, Manufacturing Excellence, and Continuous Improvement organizations.
- Partnering with leaders on a range of activities including leadership capability, performance management, talent strategy, team efficiency and organizational design.
- Manage compensation planning resulting from performance management process.
- Build training and development platforms for manufacturing operations, including design and presentation of sessions, creating agendas, and training strategy.
- Proactively provide data-driven workforce insights to enhance the business’ overall strategy and improve workforce effectiveness and performance.
- Work with business leaders to refine organizational structures that align with O-I strategy.
- Apply knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements and follow the appropriate controls to ensure O-I’s operations are compliant.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex employee relations cases and government and labor relations issues.
Talent Management:
- Collaborate on recommendations for training and development, and identify optimal talent sourcing channels and strategies.
- Facilitate talent assessment and calibration discussions.
- Work with business leaders to identify top talent and critical roles for the next generation of leadership, and develop succession and/or development plans in alignment with Country Group strategy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in People & Culture (Human Resources)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Master’s degree in Labor/Industrial relations, or Organizational Psychology preferred
- Relevant HR & Change Management certification preferred
What we offer at O-I:
Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $160,000 with a 15-20% STI. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
