Job Responsibilities:
- Setup Amagi Cloud Infrastructure for new channels being onboarded on AWS, GCP or physical hardware.
- Install and configure Amagi products as per project requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Onboarding project managers as well as external stakeholders like development/testing teams to deploy needed solutions.
- Debug any issues and be proactive in finding solutions in coordination with tech leads, customer teams and/or internal devops or engineering Teams.
- Be involved in external communications, like joining customer calls along with the project manager to understand specific requirements.
- Automate regular/repetitive tasks and write one-time use scripts for accomplishing an otherwise manual tasks.
- Be available to work in shifts.
- Ensure few defects and test thoroughly before marking tasks as completed.
- Participate in daily standups and routine reporting on project progress and any issues to internal stakeholders.
- Drive customer satisfaction by delivering systems to an agreed specification.
Requirements
We'll need you to have a good foundation for establishing the technical enablement needs for customer and partner teams and drive them to success.
Our ideal candidate has from 1 to 5 years of experience in the media industry sector, with some hands-on technology exposure. The candidate must be experienced in Agile projects, and programming languages and should also have a dev-ops services background.
Technical Skills:
- Linux
- Shell Scripting
- Python
- Docker and Kubernetes
- AWS and/or GCP knowledge
Certifications:
Good to have Beginner ( or Advanced) level AWS or GCP Certification.
Domain Knowledge:
- Good to have basic knowledge of OTT ( HLS, MPEG-DASH, CDN)
- Must have good knowledge of Linux Operating systems and commands.
- Some knowledge of Audio/Video and Cloud Technologies is highly desirable.
- Good to have knowledge of Media components in AWS (MediaLive, MediaConnect etc.)
