Job Description

Our Program Management Office (PMO) optimizes business value in project, program, and portfolio management execution to strengthen ASML’s competitive position. Our mission is to drive world-class project, program and portfolio management across ASML’s Business Lines and Research & Development. In this way PMO is the competence owner of state-of-the-art project methodologies.
 

As a PMO Officer you are positioned as an independent team member of a business team that is responsible for the development or maintenance & improvement of our state-of-the-art lithography machines. As a PMO Officer you are responsible for;

Challenging the triple constraint (scope, timing, budget) as a recognized business partner, to optimize business value Driving effective decision making on all levels as a trusted ‘advisor’ of the Product Development Manager and his/her cross sectoral Product Team Implementing and improving project (program) standards and processes, e.g. related to project planning, financial management, product generation process, reporting, change control, risk management and quality. You are the one preparing and facilitating progress reviews and key decision meetings and actively follow-up on agreements made during these meetings Providing guidance during the financial forecasting (budget) process and proactively assisting regular financial management and reporting Pro-actively connecting, enabling and challenging all stakeholders. Next to that, you will inform and guide other PMO Project Officers about the status and progress of the Product and what they should focus on Driving completeness of all inputs from deciders in the product generation process Growing people and the team competences of PMO and ASML’s Project Management community, e.g. by driving, participating, leading & implementing cross-PMO improvement projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or other relevant fields

Experience

At least 5 years of working experience as PM(O) expert or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment

Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects

Experience with MS Project Online or a similar tool

Experience working with a complex stakeholder landscape is preferred
Strong English communication skills both written and oral

Personal skills

Excellent communicator, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders

Maintains personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change and uncertainty

Ability to guide, coach and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the project and process maturity level of the organization

Team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently

Takes ownership, gets things done and pro-actively drives for improvement

Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.

Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$102,375-170,625

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
