Account Receivable - (Billing Specialist)

About the role
As a Billing Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and executing the company’s financial transactions with a focus on technology and customer support. This role involves handling daily financial duties including preparing bank deposits, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining accurate billing records.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares daily bank deposits, reviews for accuracy.
- Applies payments to outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitors and maintains accounts receivable aging.
- Assists with accounts receivable process through correspondence and collection calls as directed.
- Prepares customer invoices; reconciles customer accounts.
- Retrieves credit reports and assists with review of customer credit issues.
- Maintains accounts receivable files.
- Supports Account Management by supplying detailed invoicing and payment information, as well as assisting in preparing customer forecasts.
- Assists with related special projects as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- Bank Programs or similar (SunTrust/Truist)
- Excel
- Outlook
- Able to adapt to changing conditions.
- Deal with Purchase Orders and keeping track of amounts.
- Work with Sales Tax.
- Prepare forecast/accruals for clients.
- Deal with multiple departments.
- Work with contracts that can have many different levels of billing.
- Attention to detail.
