Program Manager

Overview

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Program Manager for one of our clients.  The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.  Client is located in the Washington, DC area but the position offers a remote work option.

HYBRID / LOCATION: WASHINGTON, DC AREA

Responsibilities

• Proactively evaluating and anticipating project progress and responding to necessary changes to ensure deliverables support successful contract objectives.
• Ensuring requirements, deliverables and performance standards / service level are met.
• Compliance with personnel staffing requirements, notifications and replacement.
• Responsible for the overall performance of the contract.
• Serving as the client's main point of contact.
• Identifying issues and recommending resolutions on an ongoing basis.
• Keeping the contracting officer representative and technical designees updated on all aspects of the task order, and making them aware of any contract issues in a timely manner.
• Planning the entire program across scope, schedule, resources, risk, quality, etc., and monitoring the on-going execution of these areas.
• Implementing the contractor’s quality control plan.

Qualifications

• Must have PMP and ITIL v4 is required.
• Requires Master's Degree and 10+ years experience directly related to requirements (or Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years related experience) 
• Must have at least five years of experience with Agile methodologies, portfolio management and project management.
• Working knowledge of Agile solution delivery methodologies, project management and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently, with little to no oversight.
