MAINT-Project Planner

KNOWLEDGE: REQUIRED

•             Knowledge of oil and gas industry and practices, including safety, environmental, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards. Knowledge and demonstrated experience planning industrial project work.

•             Strong background- Capable to develop work packages involving mechanical equipment, piping modifications, and soft crafts (scaffold/ insulation).

•             Advanced computing skills with a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite of products. Maximo experience required. 

•             Comprehension of written specifications

•             Comprehension of P&ID’s.

 Job Requirements 

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)

•Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or GED, and relevant technical discipline or equivalent work experience.

•Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a small capital projects scheduler, planner or coordinator in a natural gas plant, a petrochemical plant or refinery is required.

• Effective organizational skills to be able to manage multiple activities timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
• Written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, to interact with individuals and groups from different disciplines and levels.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced Computer knowledge, including Maximo, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.

Be able to climb ladders, stairs, walking on elevated surfaces.  Carry up to 25 lbs.
