Description
Environmental Compliance Consultants inc. (ECC) is seeking a Senior Project Manager (PM) with experience in environmental and industrial services to serve as the PM on high level Department of Defense (DOD), state, federal, and commercial clients while also acting as the overall manager for regional personnel and operations centered around our facility in North Pole, Alaska. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of industrial and environmental services. A strong background in leadership, business acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of industrial and environmental services is required. This is a full-time, year-round, on-site opportunity. Compensation is dependent on experience.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

- Enforce safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture for personnel to maintain safe operations as priority one.
- Lead and manage all aspects of environmental and industrial projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management for industrial system cleaning/maintenance, waste management, client and ECC facility management, and environmental assessment projects (General Management).
- Oversee, manage, and supervise all aspects of employee/workforce management and development for 15-25 personnel.
- Identify/oversee/facilitate training needs for self and team to enhance employee skills/knowledge.
- Manage the region's facility and fleet resources, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for increased client satisfaction as the primary client liaison.
- Develop work plans/schedules and delegate tasks to team members based on their skills, expertise, and workload capacity.
- Collaborate with business development teams to prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and deliverables.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the region's operational and financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare project status reports, progress updates, and final project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze challenges, identify solutions, and make informed decisions to overcome obstacles and achieve desired outcomes.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Foster a culture of professional growth and development, mentoring and motivating team members, and promoting internal talent for succession planning while encouraging employee engagement and morale.
- Efficiently manage resources, including all regional staff, equipment, materials, and budget, to optimize productivity and meet organizational objectives.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments, providing clear instructions and keeping employees informed of important information.
- Address conflicts and employee issues in a fair and timely manner, fostering a harmonious work environment.
- Facilitate applicant interviews and participate in hiring/termination decisions.
- Ensure all industrial and environmental operations are delivered on-time, within budget, and in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices.
- Set the example and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in high-level Project Management and/or Scientific fields.
- 10-20 years' experience in industrial/environmental services management, with a strong track record of successful project execution, team leadership, and business growth in an equivalent sized operation.
