About the role

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Traveling Floor Cleaner to perform a wide range of floor care and general cleaning duties across multiple work sites. This position is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented facilities for employees, clients, and visitors. The role requires extensive travel—70% to 90% Monday through Friday—to support cleaning operations in various states, including tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, dusting, pressure washing, and equipment upkeep.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces   
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met   
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies  
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces   
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly   
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor   
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed   
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation   

Preferred: 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred    
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus   
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively   
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards   
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality   

Required: 

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older 

  • Travel commitment of 70% to 90% of the time, Monday through Friday 

  • Willingness to travel to different work sites across multiple states 

Schedule: 

  • 8-hour shift 

Supplemental Pay: 

  • Bonus opportunities 

Experience: 

  • Floor care: 1 year (Preferred) 

License/Certification: 

  • Driver's License (Required) 

Willingness to travel: 

  • 75% (Required)
