This role works within established system architectures and engineering standards to develop custom and configured solutions that meet customer, manufacturing, and compliance requirements.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute and support the configuration and customization of mechanical designs to meet project- and customer-specific requirements.</li> <li>Provide maintenance of line (MOL) support for operational teams across the business</li> <li>Perform advanced 3D modeling and create detailed 2D drawings, including customer coordination drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly documentation.</li> <li>Maintain and update bills of materials (BOMs), ensuring alignment with released designs and manufacturing standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, R&amp;D engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing engineers and quality, to ensure designs meet functional, schedule, and cost targets.</li> <li>Optimizing and configuring the custom designs of mechanical solutions to meet client-specific requirements, focusing on manufacturability and compliance with industry and internal standards.</li> <li>Reviewing designs to maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry guidelines, and UL 891/1558.</li> <li>Incorporate manufacturing, testing, field, and installation feedback into design updates and product refinements.</li> <li>Contribute to peer reviews of designs to ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with engineering standards.</li> <li>Assisting in identifying and addressing project challenges, ensuring alignment with timelines and client expectations.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Apply established system-level configuration strategies and modules that balance technical requirements, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.</li> &l
