Gourmet Food Server - Le Cirque (UNION) Bellagio

Le Cirque, nestled within the iconic Bellagio, is looking for a vibrant and engaging Gourmet Food Server to play a pivotal role in providing exceptional guest experiences! If you have prior serving experience and want to work in one of Bellagio's finest restaurants, apply now!

THE JOB:

As the Gourmet Food Server, you will be primarily responsible for taking and delivering customer orders, maintaining tables, ensuring guest satisfaction, and finalizing checks. Additionally, you will perform side work and general cleaning of assigned stations to assist with opening and closing procedures.

THE STARTING RATE:  $13.5894 plus Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel valued and comfortable
• Assist guests throughout their dining experience, providing guidance and support
• Demonstrate expertise in sales techniques, proficiently serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and expertly presenting each course of the menu
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and promptly address them with attentiveness
• Collaborate effectively with management, chefs, and kitchen staff to promptly resolve any guest or operational issues
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure adequate stock levels at assigned areas, side stations, tables, and POS stations
• Accurately itemize bills and efficiently process payments
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned

RESTAURANT DETAILS:

Hours of operation:

• Friday – Monday:  5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday – Thursday:  Closed
• (May work before/after these times for opening and closing procedures)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain both a TAM card (Alcohol Awareness) and Food Handlers card
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Two (2) years of experience as a server in a luxury, fine-dining restaurant
• Two (2) years of experience in a fast-paced environment with food service
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure guest satisfaction and enhance the dining experience
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure, including comfortably managing sections as large as eight tables when needed
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
