Senior Construction Project Manager

TxDOT's Denton County Area Office is looking for Technical Project Manager II to help oversee the numerous construction projects currently underway in Denton County. This position performs detailed inspection and management of highway construction projects of varying size and scope from major interstate reconstruction, highway rehabilitations, bridge replacements, pedestrian upgrades, and much more. Serving as a Project Manger over detailed inspection of construction methods and workmanship to ensure contractors build roadways, bridges, traffic signals, and related structures in accordance with plans and specifications. The position helps train new or inexperienced construction inspection staff and develop future project managers. The positions consults work progress and problem resolution with contractors as well as the Area Office engineering supervisors.
