POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will spearhead high-impact commercial data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with our clients’ strategic goals, timeline, and budget. This role requires a deep blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on project management to drive operational success and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PROJECT LEADERSHIP: Oversee multiple high-value projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.

STRATEGIC PLANNING: Develop and implement project strategies that align with company objectives and market demands.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

SAFETY OVERSIGHT: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout all project phases by conducting regular safety audits and promoting a safety-first culture among team members and stakeholders.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project success.

RISK MANAGEMENT: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.

PERFORMANCE MONITORING: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, or at least 10 years of professional experience in the construction field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Management or Engineering, specifically within Mission Critical/Data Center or Heavy Industrial projects; familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a strong understanding of the industry is essential.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading large, cross-functional teams and managing personnel while effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, CSI building codes, and industry best practices.

SKILLS:

COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE: Deep expertise in Commercial Construction best practices as related to large-scale project sites.

CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS: Proficiency in navigating Owner/Design/Contractor Agreements and resolving project-related issues within their confines. Expertise in developing project cost proposals and negotiating contract terms with clients. Solid understanding of construction contracts to identify risk mitigation strategies that protect project profitability and company interests.

SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY: Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint for executive-level communications and Excel for managing project budgets. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Construction Management software (e.g., ProCore, Primavera P6) for document control and scheduling.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: Proven ability to lead teams and deliver consistent results. Effective time and resource management skills. Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills. Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.

COMMUNICATION AND MATHMATIC PROFICIENCY: Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in mathematics and accounting. Strong financial acumen to ensure project profitability.

RISK ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT: Ability to identify potential risks associated with project timelines, budgets, safety, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical skills to evaluate risk factors and their potential impact on project outcomes. Experience in developing effective risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential negative impacts.
