Quality Assurance Risk Ops Senior Analyst

<p><span>As Marqeta’s <strong>Quality Assurance Senior Analyst</strong>, you will work with our first-class Risk Ops Quality Assurance team to oversee the risk operations of our clients. </span></p> <p><strong><span>This role can be performed in a hybrid work model (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite) from our Warsaw office. We’d love for you to join us!</span></strong></p> <h2><span><strong>The Impact You’ll Have</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li><span>Conduct tests and inspections of processes against policies, procedures and  regulatory requirements to evaluate quality performance, ensuring consistency of our BPO in scoring and adoption of the QA framework.</span></li> <li><span>Report performance and track areas of improvement on multiple levels, both internally and externally.</span></li> <li><span>Perform trend analysis on evaluation data and provide feedback.</span></li> <li><span>Develop and establish controls in collaboration with our Compliance/Legal Team and third-party partners.</span></li> <li><span>Coordinate with other specialists to continuously improve and evolve the QA framework and scorecards, including the development of new QA functions.</span></li> <li><span>Work closely with our internal and external support and compliance teams to ensure all policies are being followed and make recommendations for improvement.</span></li> <li><span>Ensure adherence to governance, standards, and protocols by overseeing risk operations and compliance processes to align with internal frameworks, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.</span></li> <li><span>Establish strong relationships across cross functional teams to foster a sense of inclusiveness and ensure alignment. </span></li> <li><span>Clearly articulate challenges and recommendations to all levels of stakeholders.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span><strong>Who You Are</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li><span>3+ year experience in an Audit/Quality Assurance role, or similar experience in an oversight/compliance environment.</span></li> <li><span>Overall 5+ years of experience in AML/KYC/Sanctions for US and/or European entities.</span></li> <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business, economics, communications, statistics, finance or related field or equivalent experience</span></li> <li><span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze trends, uncover opportunities, and make recommendations for improvement.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to create a vision and translate it into detailed and prioritized plans, with ongoing action and tracking over various timeframes.</span></li> <li><span>Great organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple, complex projects on time.</span></li> <li><span>Experience in governance, standards, and protocols related to risk management and compliance, ensuring that processes and operations adhere to established frameworks and regulatory guidelines.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to create a vision and translate it into detailed and prioritized plans, with ongoing action and tracking over various timeframes.</span></li> <li><span>Desire to build and implement new processes that improve the experiences of our customers and increase efficiencies of our support operations teams.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.</span></li> <li><span>Curiosity, creativity, motivation, and capability of working on your own as well as part of a globally distributed team.</span></li> <li><span>Positive outlook and supportive attitude, with a commitment to constructive feedback and coaching.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span><strong>Nice-To-Haves</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li><span>CAMS, ICA, SCS or similar industry related certifications.</span></li> <li><span>Lean Six Sigma certification.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span><strong>Your Manager</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li><span><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/m-martino/">Mauro Martino</a></span></li> </ul> <h2><span><strong>Recruiter For This Role</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li><span><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/agatawoj/">Agata Wojciechowska</a></span></li> </ul> <h2><span><strong>Typical Process</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li><span>Application Submission</span></li> <li><span>Recruiter phone call</span></li> <li><span>Hiring manager video call</span></li> <li><span>Virtual “Onsite” consisting of 4-5, 45 min calls</span></li> <li><span>Offer!</span></li> </ul> <p><span>At this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the role.
