N-Power partners with community oncologists through its proprietary real-time Kaleido Registry and AI-enabled point-of-care platform, complemented by virtual and on-site support, to optimize research and patient care workflows. N-Power’s unique model will dramatically shorten oncology drug development timelines by (1) unlocking clinical trial participation for the vast number of oncologists and cancer patients in the community setting, and (2) enabling smaller, faster clinical trials with non-randomized designs, through prospectively-generated external controls based on standard-of-care patients.

Position OverviewN-Power Medicine is hiring a Business Development Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Pharma Partnering & Portfolio Management. This position supports every step of the Pharma/Biotech sales cycle, from lead acquisition through deal close. BD works closely with Medical, Operations, Data Science and Engineering to develop project proposals to meet the needs of new and existing Pharma/Biotech, and success involves developing a robust pipeline of potential opportunities and contributing to bookings and revenue targets. 
This position is a remote role within the United States.
Role Objectives and Responsibilities-Developing lead acquisition strategies across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.-Generating and implementing lead-specific strategies for deal closure, including developing customer account plans with detailed analysis of the customer, their pipeline and key stakeholders.-Pitching of collaboration opportunities to prospective partners and generation of short- and long-term strategies for account expansion. -Leading a cross-functional team across Business Development, Medical, Operations, Data Science, Engineering, and Legal responsible for development of proposals and draft statements of work.-Support contract negotiations with legal, compliance, procurement, and business counterparts. -Ensuring a smooth handoff of projects from Business Development to Operations.-Regular reporting on the status of the Business Development pipeline and overall Pharma portfolio.-Attending industry conferences and actively networking to develop and maintain industry contacts. -May partner to support hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a skilled and engaged team.-May provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Education, Experience, Behavioral Competencies, & Skills-A Bachelor’s degree in a business or life science discipline. -A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a life sciences or sales role that includes familiarity with the pharma and biotech drug development process; prior experience in Clinical Trial Operations, Drug Development R&D and Oncology are highly desired.-Ability to lead presentations and discussions with a scientific audience and the ability to connect the dots between customer needs and relevant services and products.-Experience with consultative selling, especially in complex industries where solutions need to be tailored to client needs, is preferred. -Experience with customer mapping or competitive landscaping. -Ability to build and nurture long-term customer relationships. -Confident communication skills, including presentation and negotiation. -Strong experience working with cross-functional teams and building consensus. -Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on achieving targets and driving growth. -Generous, Curious & Humble.
Travel Requirements 25% time required to travel to industry conferences or meetings with potential or existing partners.International travel is not required.
Pay InformationThe expected salary range for this position is $127,000 and $172,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. N-Power Medicine (NPM) offers equity at hire as well as a discretionary annual bonus which may be available based on Company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits.
