As Assistant to the Head of Medicine this role thrives on being highly organized and detail-oriented. This role will play a critical part in supporting and optimizing our medical programs and projects. As the glue between all the strategic goals identified between Field leadership, Head of Medicine and the Medical Programs & Projects team, you drive towards medical operational success as defined by the company strategy.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Initiate, plan, execute, and close medical projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop, maintain and implement detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify and address issues, and escalate when necessary.
Stakeholder Communication:

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among different departments to achieve project goals.
Operations Support:
- Collaborate with medical teams to streamline processes and workflows, optimizing efficiency and quality of care.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the overall medical operation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze medical data to identify trends and insights that can inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into the performance of medical programs.
Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including staffing and equipment, to support medical programs and projects.
- Ensure adequate training and development of staff members involved in medical operations, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to uphold the highest standards of project and program oversight.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications;
- Strong knowledge of veterinary healthcare industry regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare operations and project management.
