Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Contract Administrator Lead is responsible for serving as a state lead in submission of group health insurance products at a regional site
How you will make an impact:
- Develops and oversees the regulatory approval process for submission of group health insurance products with federal and state insurance regulators.
- Collaborate with multiple functional business areas (enterprise and local senior management, underwriting, legal, marketing & actuarial departments) in drafting of new product language and products.
- Includes preparation and submission of form filings and communicating with regulators.
- Evaluates insurance, HMO, and self-funded benefit contracts and benefit booklets and related processes and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Understanding of fully insured and self-funded health insurance funding arrangement, health insurance provider networks, health insurance benefits, state and federal laws and/or regulations impacting health insurance products, and health insurance contract and benefit booklet/certificate of coverage form development highly preferred
- Experience with Federal and state health insurance policy form filing regulatory process. This includes negotiating with Federal and state regulatory staff during health insurance product form filing process to obtain approvals on filings highly preferred.
- Experience filing group and/or individual healthcare insurance products using SERFF or other policy form submission tools as required by particular state departments of insurance highly preferred.
- PC proficiency to include with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams and Adobe Acrobat highly preferred.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools specifically related to development of health insurance policy forms and in assistance with health insurance form filing regulatory process preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $89,880 to $147,660
