Construction Department Financial Analyst

Description

Analyzes project financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying job costing data for all active projects.

Requirements

1.  Work with DynaFire management in establishing construction budgets.
2.  Provide reports to management forecasting expected billings and profit margins.
3.  Ensure that all time cards are completed, processed, and that the times are allocated properly.
4.  Assist PM's in monthly billings to ensure that cash-flow is optimized.
5.  Examine financial data/statements and utilize them to improve profitability.
6.  Manage financials and ensure favorable billing position.
7.  Ensure that all cost is allocated properly on all projects. 
8.  Out of town travel may be required.
9.  Other duties as assigned by DynaFire.
10. Conduct team meetings, and budget reviews.
11. Manage financial, and risk management for all active projects.
12. Ensure that liens rights are executed on time for all projects.
13. Monitor cash flow for delinquent accounts.
14. Maintains and promotes the DynaFire 8 Core Values by making decisions within their framework.
15. Maintain professional certifications for self. Promotes constant professional development and education.
16. Work with other departments in the delivery of DynaFire's products and services.
17. Assist project managers in activities concerned with the reporting and control of the construction process; contract amounts, work orders, change orders.
18. Analyses financial results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
19. Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Training and Certification Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.

-Demonstrated ability to understand and draw sound analytical conclusions from financial statements

-Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
