The Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting activities across the Accounting organization including the preparation of monthly accounting records as well as related reporting, analytical activities and initiatives.

General Responsibilities• Participate in creating journal entries• Assists with balance sheet reconciliations• Follow the company’s chart of accounts• Support month-end and year-end close process• Analyzing accounting options• Partipating in the review of accounting systems and procedures• Coordinating with management and cross-functional stakeholders on changes to accounting systems• Assist with financial statements and supplemental schedules • Coordinate documentation on business processes to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by understanding existing and new legislation• Assists with special financial reports as needed by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

Experience / Qualifications• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Base Salary Range:

$56,300.00 - $77,440.00
