JF&CS is now seeking a part-time Clinician 3 - Clinical Team Lead (LPC or LCSW Supervisor).

     

PURPOSE:

JF&CS Atlanta Clinical Services Team is seeking a Child and Family Clinician to provide  psychotherapy and relationship counseling to children, couples, and families. The Clinician will utilize varied treatment modalities and be willing to  provide services in a variety of community locations including but not limited to the Dunwoody office and/or telehealth platforms. This Clinician 3 will play a greater role in supervision, onboarding new team members, and on CQI activities.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct clinical assessments through use of clinical interviews and standardized measures.
  • Determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan dependent on the client’s needs, culture, home environment and preferred method of therapeutic intervention. 
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy including individual, couple, family, and group therapy services. 
  • Provide psycho-educational and skill-building programming within the community. 
  • Conduct crisis, suicide, and homicide risk assessments and interventions, as needed.
  • Engage in active outreach with school/college staff, parents/caregivers, and/or community resources.
  • Facilitates and assists with referrals to community resources, as needed.
  • Completes clinical notes and other necessary paperwork in a timely manner to comply with all administrative regulations. Completes visit notes within 72 business hours of visit completion.
  • Maintain their own schedule to meet client demand. Possible evening coverage may be required. 
  • Complete a minimum of 8-10 encounters or visits/week with a total of 15 hours/week.
  • Supervise 5-6 clinicians, pre-licensed clinicians and/or interns, as assigned.
  • Attend required meetings, including supervision, group consultation, and team meetings. 
  • Assist with onboarding new staff and other clinical team members, including training on EHR, documentation,        
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or other mental health specialties.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in the use of an electronic health record.
  • Comfortable with utilizing technology at all points of the day, including telehealth software, video communication, and internal   communication tools.
  • Must possess all licenses, registrations, certifications, and accreditations required by law to render behavioral health services in the state of Georgia.
  • Must maintain full credentials and privileges to practice with JF&CS.
