The Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) Team has an opening for an MRO-E Discipline Lead for F100/TF33 Programs. The position requires a thorough understanding and practical experience of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul processes. The Discipline Lead would provide technical oversight for the team, coaching/mentoring of team members, ensuring best practices are flowed across engine programs, and adopted where practical. This position is a key role within the CIPT as it provides a direct engineering link with our domestic and foreign military customers.

What You Will Do

• Identify the need for and plans projects, and independently executes multiple tasks.
• Perform as an onsite engineering liaison, representing Pratt & Whitney in front of our military customers.
• Support Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT’s) responsible for Fan and High Compressor hardware across Pratt & Whitney’s family of engines at Tinker AFB Oklahoma City.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. with 8 years’ experience in Engineering, Operations, Overhaul, and/or Program Management in the gas turbine industry OR
• An advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)

Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.

Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.
