As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol Driver in Jackson, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. In this primarily unarmed, patrol-based role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to support a secure environment, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Pay Rate: $15.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun04:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the retail and mall environment.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with security-related tasks and communications as needed.
• Document incidents and maintain detailed reports according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
