Overview:
The Maintenance Mechanic 3 is responsible for performing maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment. This role requires moderate supervision and may include mentoring technicians or other maintenance members.
What You'll Do:
Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
Conduct detailed preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Train and mentor Preventative Maintenance Technicians as needed
Assist in identifying parts and tools needed for repairs.
Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including HACCP, GMP, and OSHA requirements.
What You'll Need:
Availability to work second shift.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in food manufacturing or a similar industry.
Proficiency reading mechanic diagrams and manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $30.62
