Position Overview:
Linwood Meadows Care Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Weekend Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to provide wound care and treatment services to our residents. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and ensuring timely, effective treatment interventions on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide wound care and skin assessments per physician orders and care plans

• Document treatments, observations, and resident responses accurately and promptly

• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

• Monitor and report changes in skin condition or treatment effectiveness

• Maintain treatment supplies and ensure proper infection control practices

• Educate residents and staff on proper wound prevention and care techniques

• Assist with resident care as needed and respond to clinical emergencies appropriately

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Current California LVN or RN license in good standing

• Wound care or treatment experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred

• Strong clinical, assessment, and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

• CPR certification required

• Knowledge of infection control and treatment protocols
