This position is reliant upon funding and may be subject to modification or termination based on resource availability.

The Adult Education Program Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of adult education programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized individual who enjoys working in a dynamic educational environment and supporting both staff and students.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with scheduling meetings and events.
- Reserve rooms and ensure appropriate setup for instructional and administrative activities.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, including materials, technology, and refreshments as needed.
- Help administer student assessments and testing sessions.
- Assemble and distribute student packets and instructional materials.
- Provide general assistance to students and instructors during program activities.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate program records.
- Make copies and prepare materials for classes and meetings.
- Organize files, supplies, and program documentation to support efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with staff, instructors, and students.
- Support program staff with special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or experience in education or administration preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in education and/or non-profit settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and backgrounds
