CSA is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist who specializes in electronic classroom technical support in San Diego.

How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

  • Ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available and Active Directory accounts are properly configured. 
  • Assist customers overcome any challenges through monitoring and performance management.  
  • Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. 
  • Utilize experience and communication skills to turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. 
  • Manage users and computers in an enterprise network.  

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance. 
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • General Experience: Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration  
  • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification OR qualifying bachelor degree from an accredited university
  • Experience with connectivity, interoperability, operational readiness, and security and compliance systems maintenance
  • Experience with systems and hardware and software administration and integration
  • Experience with routine maintenance, including break and fix, backup and recovery, and inventory and asset management

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience with multi-media systems support and community of interest (COI) network operations
  • Experience with local group policy management and file share, system, and account administration
  • Experience with configuration and change management and life cycle support
  • Experience with workstation and server hardware installation, maintenance, board replacement, and cable switching
  • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of system development, software maintenance, and ancillary functions
  • Knowledge of cyber defense compliance and accreditation services
  • Ability to connect non-Navy workstations to the network system
  • Ability to perform onsite service center support
  • Bachelor's degree

Candidates based in California, Colorado, New York or Washington:The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. CSA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
