Core Responsibilities

• Develop product Lifecycles.  Evaluate and optimize architect, design, execute engineering workflows to improve predictable delivery.  Establish methodologies for design reviews, documentation, and technical specs across multiple teams.  Implement tools that automate manual process steps, ensuring "correct by construction" designs.
• Design the organizational protocol for identifying, escalating, and resolving technical excursions and system failures.

• Lead high-stakes root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D investigations, converting lessons learned into permanent process improvements.  Develop predictive monitoring and risk-assessment frameworks to catch potential excursions before they impact production. Tackling "arbitrarily complex" problems that span multiple systems or departments, often in a "Solver" capacity.

• Build data-driven staffing models that align engineering headcount and skill sets with long-term product roadmaps. Project resource requirements, timelines, and budgets for complex cross-functional projects.
• Define the technical competency required for various roles and lead mentorship programs to level up the entire organization.

• Defining long-term technical roadmaps and architectural standards that align with business goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or related field).
• Experience: 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership or operations-focused role.
• Systems Thinking: Proven ability to design complex systems and processes that impact 50+ engineers.
• Data Proficiency: Skilled in using analytical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SQL) to drive operational decisions.
• Communication: Expert at influencing without authority and communicating technical visions to both executives and ICs.
