What is this role? 

As the Maintenance Manager for Cirkul, you will play a key role in Cirkul’s geographic expansion to a Western state. In this role you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing and facilities maintenance department, including maintenance mechanics, machinery repair, preventative maintenance systems, and team reviews. 

What does an average day look like?

• Driving Results: Manage the maintenance team in performing diagnostic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment
• Taking Ownership: Monitor quality of repairs through audits and in-person review processes
• Making Decisions: Direct point of contact for all OEMs to schedule, manage and maintain all service calls and support while resolving any discrepancies immediately
• Cultivating Relationships: Interfaces with manufacturing engineers, production management and line personnel to find the most effective ways to operate and maintain equipment
• Instilling Trust: Interface with production personnel in a manner that builds trust,  minimizes impact on production and maintain safety programs
• Customer Focus: Ensure that Cirkul's safety, quality and production standards are being met to deliver a high-quality product to our customers every time

What background should you have? 

• 5+ years experience in a similar maintenance leadership role. 
• Associates degree or higher in related fields
• Previous experience with TPM and lean manufacturing within a high velocity manufacturing environment a plus
• Knowledge of industrial equipment fundamentals including electrical wiring, electrical components, pneumatic systems, automated manufacturing equipment, packing equipment, water systems, hydraulics and building maintenance
• Demonstrates hands-on leadership and coaching abilities
• Must understand and prioritize cGMP’s and People & Food safety into daily decision making and maintenance efforts
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents (blueprints, wiring diagrams, manuals, etc) 
• Ability to use basic hand tools properly and safely
