Facilities Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer performs the duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the facility in good repair. This includes but is not limited to preventative, emergency, corrective and routine repairs, in steam pressure systems, hot water systems, electrical, mechanical, fire safety, plumbing and HVAC equipment. Responsibilities also include cleaning, grounds keeping, painting/carpenter, masonry duties as directed to maintain the interior and exterior physical structure of the building
Experience: Prefer one year of related experience in facilities or maintenance
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
2nd class C boiler license preferred or Special Boiler license within within 90 days of hire and 2nd class C boiler license required 18 months of hire.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record in accordance with Mayo Clinic Policy.
**On Call schedule requires qualified candidates to respond within an established timeframe to be discussed during interview process.
