We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Binghamton, NYlocation.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Works on budgets, procurement, invoicing, asset management and interfaces with finance, management, program management and project managers to provide accurate dollars for implementation of projects and ongoing cost for operational support.
• Utilize SAP to prepare purchase requests and purchase orders.
• Analyze project financials and budgets.
• Processes receipts, accruals, and invoices as part of the purchasing process.
• Perform a wide range of analyst assignments and resolving recurring problems independently without close supervision.
• Parse data and present in a meaningful format.
• Reviews contracts to ensure they are completed in compliance with company policy.
• Ensures invoices are in compliance with contracts. Ensures that contract and billing files are maintained according to standards.
• Develops client analyses and reports as needed.
• Prepares and maintains appropriate spreadsheets for billing and project analysis.
• Researches contracts, plans and regulatory agency manuals to determine and analyze specifications and requirements.
• Reviews contract progress reports.
• Maintains logs and reports. agreements.
• Assists project manager with communication with Contractors and Subcontractors to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and project
• 3+ years of experience in construction and project management.

• Assists project manager in the initiation, opening and closing of project numbers in accounting system.
• May perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field.
• Assists in the preparation of contracts, work authorizations and supplemental
• Prior experience in substations, transmission, distribution, gas, hydro plans, or smart grids.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, to understand contracts, specifications, organize information and use microcomputer.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
• Good interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with project managers and subconsultants.
• Must have good analytical ability and technical skills.
