Weekend Option Staff RN - Intensive Care

Job Summary:

Definition of Shared Governance:Shared governance is a professional structural model, founded on the cornerstone principles of partnership, equity, accountability, and ownership that form a culturally sensitive and empowering framework, enabling sustainable and accountability-based decisions to support an interdisciplinary design for excellent patient care.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.
2. Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
3. Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes.
4. Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with work class performance levels.
5. Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
6. Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
7. Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years.  80% attendance in person or by phone is required.  Advancements in Clinical Ladder will be reflected in yearly application process and is expected for job performance standards.

Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:

1. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

 

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and Bachelors Degree in Nursing within 5 years of employment (with the exception of staff previously granted grandfather status).
• Licensure: Registered Nurse license from the Indiana State Board of Nursing. Some areas may require a current and valid driver’s license.
• Experience: Graduate of RN Program
