Position: Finance Business Operations Analyst, Corridor Specialist (10)

Locations: El Paso TX; El Centro CA; Grand Forks ND; Harlingen TX; Laredo TX, McAllen TX (regional location*); Spokane WA; Swanton VT; Tucson AZ

Primary Functions: Acquisition Support, Funding Management & Budget, Building Operations, Maintenance and Repair (BOMR)

Essential Functions:

The Finance Business Operations Analyst, Corridor Specialist shall perform the following essential functions to support project requirements:

 

1. Acquisition Program Management & Consulting

  • Provide strategic consulting and analysis to facilitate the success of acquisition programs.
  • Assist Program and Project Managers in coordinating procurement activities, including tracking timelines and milestones.
  • Support the development of acquisition documentation, program plans, and performance measures.
  • Offer recommendations and assessments throughout the acquisition process to improve efficiency and compliance.

2. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Monitor, track, and report funding and budget for designated initiatives, projects, and tasks.
  • Submit Purchase Requisition Requests (PRRs) and track financial transactions in CBP’s financial system (SAP).
  • Collaborate with servicing agency partners to maintain accurate records of available, expensed, and obligated funding.
  • Maintain and update project cost data in TRIRIGA or its replacement system, ensuring monthly accuracy.
  • Provide monthly financial reports to the Government, detailing budgetary status and funding utilization.

3. Sustainment & Support Planning

  • Conduct trending analysis on historical data to predict upcoming requirements and optimize budget allocation.
  • Develop budget plans and execution strategies in coordination with the Facility and Infrastructure Manager and BOMR Corridor Manager.
  • Support operations, maintenance, and repair contracts, ensuring efficient contract management and execution.
