Kennel Attendant - Altamont, NY

Who we are

Guilderland Animal Hospital is a one-doctor, full-service animal hospital ready to hire a friendly and dedicated Kennel Attendant to join our dedicated team. This position is integral in providing excellent patient care and outstanding customer service to our clients. We are looking for a part-time employee that has a flexible schedule. This position includes evening, weekend shifts, and Holiday shifts. 

 

Kennel Attendant responsibilities include: 

• Walking the dogs. 

• Cleaning dog runs/cages and cat cages. 

• Feeding pets in the kennel. 

• Administering medications if needed. 

• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kennel area and the hospital. 

 

Top priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary hospital. However, we are willing to train the right applicant. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
