What we want
The Research Specialist I assists investigators with the planning and completion of specific phases of research projects. This position provides research expertise and audits protocols for field and/or lab work.

Salary: Will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.
Schedule: Full-Time; This position may require travel for project dissemination • This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.
Location: College Station, TX

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years of related experience in a specialized and relevant field of research.
Preferred Qualifications
A clinical degree (e.g. MD or RN) for basic health knowledge regarding public health risk factors for
health and illness and interventions for ameliorating major public health problems related to chronic diseases and/or substance abuse.A research Master’s Degree in related data analytical field (e.g. public health, biostatistics)
Three years or more related professional experience in clinical or public health research.
Experience conducting human-subjects research.
Experience with community-engaged research and evaluation projects.
