Security Officer Job Summary:

Here at BridgePoint, the Security Officer protects life and property of persons on hospital premises. Patrols hospital building(s) and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and other types of losses.

Security, Security Guard, SPO, Security Patrol, Healthcare Security, Hospital Security

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses/Certification:

• DC Police Department Security License (SPO) is required within 30 days of hire date.
• BLS required within 60 days of hire date.
• Required to attend SPO training in accordance with 1100 training. Appointment General Provision 1100.

Experience: Previous security experience required. Hospital security experience or prior military experience preferred.
