The Role at a Glance
We’re excited to bring on a Sr Consultant, Fund Administration, Regulatory to contribute to various mutual fund and investment adviser projects, including drafting and processing SEC filings; drafting fund board materials; drafting certifications, agreements, amendments, and correspondence; and other projects as needed. We are looking for someone fill this important role in the legal department working alongside other paralegals and legal counsel supporting our growing funds management business line.
In this role you will have a role in a fast moving and organizationally important business, working with colleagues within the legal department as well as portfolio management, accounting, relationship management, external counsel, auditors, and others.
What you'll be doing

- Provides subject matter expertise on preparation and processing of SEC filings.
- Participates in complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to maintain, build, and enhance Lincoln’s mutual fund and investment adviser functions.
- Develops and defines appropriate objectives for quality, compliance, and productivity within his/her assigned areas of responsibility.
- Key contributor & advisor in cross-functional team environments & interacts with lines of business.
- Collaborates with peers and leadership across the Business Units and Departments.
- Satisfies appropriate objectives for quality, compliance, and productivity within his/her assigned areas of responsibility.
- Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Remains updated on changes in SEC filing requirements and related practices.

- Undergraduate degree and 4+ years of comparable work experience
- 5-7+ years of experience (minimum) that align with the responsibilities of the job
- Familiarity with SEC filings (e.g. EDGAR) and related regulatory filing requirements
- Skilled collaborator who can work in tandem with a highly skilled and driven team
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Independent worker who can work with decreasing levels of supervision over time
- Curious learner who seeks to continually update and improve

Pay Range: $90,300 - $164,700
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
