Automotive Painter - ADESA Pittsburgh

Pay range: $25-$33 hourly D.O.E.

AUTO BODY REPAIR TEAM   

ADESA is looking for great painters to join our body shop team! This team plays a crucial role in our vehicle reconditioning and sale ready process. Automotive Painter  

• Reviews repair plan R.O. as assigned  
• Repairs vehicles per R.O. and in accordance with OEM standards  
• Inspects body work for imperfections prior to surface prep  
• If necessary, may be required to paint prep  
• Performs mold release preparation on raw plastic bumpers as necessary  
• Properly mixes and performs proper color matching  
• Applies base and clear coat to assigned areas including blending and feathering as required  
• Inspects refinish areas for imperfections and addresses each as necessary  
• Manages the collection, disposal, and storage of hazmat’s  
• Maintains spray booth and equipment  
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health PPE
