What are you going to do?

You will have the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking and growth-oriented environment,  as an engineer on the Analytics Management team, this position is responsible for executing the development & support of our BI solutions. This position will work closely with our business partners & BI technical leads ensuring solutions meet their objectives including oversight of project delivery as well as management of day-to-day support activities.

Occupy a unique position in the market,  this position will play an active role in the Data Modernization project moving most of our Corporate Analytics to Power BI while participating in the Corporate Data Governance effort leading strategy and implementation. The main role will be to design, create, and update large shared datasets to be used for a variety of analysis from Snowflake to Power BI. 

• Team up with the engineering teams, Business Analysis project members, and business partners to design and develop new Snowflake Views and Power BI objects including Dashboards, Reporting, and Apps among others.
• Provide technical requirements for implementation of Snowflake and Power BI objects.
• Learn and support current on prem BI tools and processes while migrating to new Cloud tools.

 

What skills do you need?

• At least 3 years of experience developing database objects and views in a star schema model optimized for reporting ease of use with a focus on fast performance.

• Strong background in Power BI, Snowflake.

• Expertise with Developing Power BI paginated (SSRS) reports.

• Strong understanding of data management principles.
