Purpose:

As our Production Services intern, you will support projects on reporting, incident management, troubleshooting, project management, and many other things. This internship will provide you with valuable, IT foundational skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of teams here at Cardinal and exposure to different technical projects. We are in need of this intern to support some revamping of current playbooks, cleaning up dashboards, assisting with monitoring, etc. 

What You’ll Do:

• Create a process for onboarding new hires on the current team.
• Review and update Kibana dashboards 
• Create an official go-to dashboards for impact numbers.  
• Review and update the current Alert System for the company.
• Create a Failover Playbook, a set of instructions on how to handle off hours' events.

What We Need You to Have:

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, networking, security or management and currently enrolled as a rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student. Recent graduates who have obtained a bachelor's degree in these fields will also be considered    
• Proficient in Microsoft Office  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail    
• Must be able to work well under deadlines and handle multiple competing tasks and priorities   
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot process issues

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $20 - $22/hr, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
