Overview

East Penn is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Shipping Support Clerk who will be responsible for answering phones and calling carriers.  This position is located in Topton, PA- not far from the Main Headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Print loading copies, sort and deliver to appropriate locations
• Assisting Common Carriers and complete appropriate paper work
• Checking the shipping boards and to insure the product is ready for shipment
• Checking the finished load reports to insure they match the loading copies
• Completing appropriate paperwork for Deka Trucks
• Assist yard jockey’s by giving them trailer and dock information
• shipping paperwork and reports
• Other responsibilities as requested 

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS, High School Diploma or GED; READING REQUIREMENTS, Basic Reading; MATHEMATICAL SKILLS, Basic Math (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying); COMPUTER SKILLS, Basic Computer Skills, Mainframe, Word, Excel,Personal Computer (PC); REASONING SKILLS, Ability to evaluate; COMMUNICATION SKILLS, Good Communication Skills, Good Telephone Skills
