The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for performing a broad range of site activities to proactively meet the business’ needs.
The Operations Coordinator will work closely with Distribution Center leaders to provide support including (but not limited to) employee onboarding, training, policies and procedures adherence, project management and various administrative functions such as payroll and incentive verification.

You are expected to adhere to all company policies and legal requirements concerning data privacy and confidentiality.
Additionally, the DC Coordinator will support the broader McKesson-wide implementation of various enterprise-wide programs developed including, employee engagement activities, Group Meetings and other duties as assigned. ca
Key Responsibilities:
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for performing a broad range of site activities to proactively meet the business’ needs. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator will support the broader McKesson-wide implementation of various enterprise-wide programs developed including, employee engagement activities, and other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts new hire orientation and employee onboarding that includes review of all local and enterprise policies and procedures while providing a positive employee experience.
- Processes additional pay bi-weekly for exempts and weekly for non-exempts.
- Reviews timecards looking CA Meal Violations and provides Leadership with list of employees with Meal Violations each week.
- Provides DEA Background check submissions.
- Vitality champ. Monthly communication to the DC for Vitality updates and benefits.
- Annual enrollment. Provides information on benefit options and has flexible availability to support each shift.
- Event Coordinator. Organizes and supports DC in-house engagement events. Included but not limited to; holiday activities, health screenings, annual enrollment.
- Assists and guides employees in resolving opportunities such as benefits, incorrect pay, ethics concerns, and questions on policies.
- Assists with, and sometimes conducts, annual site trainings/information sessions to ensure all employees receive mandatory compliance training and sign off.
- Works directly with management to ensure attendance policies, payroll verification and incentives are administered correctly.
- Assists with monitoring and completing the new hire training program. Works closely with management to assess training needs of new hires.
- Supports the broader McKesson-wide implementation of various enterprise-wide programs developed including, employee engagement activities, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required - 4 Year Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to become proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to become proficient at McKesson Operations Systems (i.e. ProWatch, Workday, ADP etc.)
- Ability to become a Notary.
Business Experience –
- Ability to learn enterprise and local policies, practices, and systems.
- Previous Administration experience
Specialized Knowledge/Skills –
- Facilitation and presentation skills.
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible hours.
