The Director of Strategic Partnerships will play a crucial role in leading the strategic development, execution, and management of key partnerships. The individual will identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with a variety of organizations to expand Carbon Direct’s impact. This role is essential for enhancing our product offerings and achieving our mission of helping companies decarbonize.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute partnership strategies to enhance product offerings and market reach.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the carbon management landscape to identify business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align partnership strategies with company objectives.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with corporations, NGOs, governmental bodies, and other relevant organizations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure long-term mutual success.
  • Manage partnership agreements, contracts, and negotiations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Drive direct and indirect revenue growth through the development of new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Develop incentive strategies and models to maximize partnership potential.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align partnership strategies with sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience developing and implementing B2B partnership strategies. 
  • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that have driven revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Familiarity with partnership agreement structuring, contract negotiations, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to assess market dynamics, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of the carbon management and sustainability sector.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Optional: Experience in carbon management or sustainability is a plus.
