Job Description :
The Associate Client Partner is a developmental level sales position focused on the Luxury Lifestyle category to focus on prospecting of new and lapsed clients, along with cultivating key industry sector accounts. Through industry and sector research, you will build opportunities for the assigned categories while also driving new leads to grow revenue. The Associate Client Partner will help grow these new accounts into larger, more frequent advertisers, while continuing to upsell existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Client Director on building a go-to-market strategy for their industry sector accounts
- Work collaboratively with industry sector and solutions teams to produce proposal presentations and documentation in a timely manner
- Develop and execute an effective relationship management plan for new and existing clients & agencies that positions us as the partner of choice for media solutions and drives revenue growth through consultative interactions
- Maintain deep industry sector knowledge and competitive edge by keeping abreast of industry trends and evangelize the value of Dow Jones products and solutions, & proactively keeping clients abreast of new product offerings and product updates
- Build relationships and develop a significant account list of advertisers and agencies through cold calls, trade networking events, and inbound leads
- Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls
- Develop and manage sales pipeline
- Develop industry expertise and provide the larger team with updates on current trends, news, competitive analysis and advertising opportunities
- Achieve revenue targets for your territory
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a media or sales role
- Luxury, Beauty, Entertainment and/or Consumer sector experience preferred
- Strong prospecting, presentation, and selling skills
- A consultative approach and the ability to comfortably liaise both internally and externally
- Previous experience supporting sales representatives with a large book of business or personally maintaining accounts
- A demonstrated ability to grow new and more transactional accounts
- Proven ability to assist in the development of complex integrated media campaigns
- Demonstrated success exceeding sales quotas and goals
- Superior verbal and written communication skills are essential
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective business relationships is essential
- Knowledge of Google Suite products
